It was extremely unfortunate to lose not just one parent, but both of my parents - and in such a short time frame. It is difficult enough to navigate the process of the estate, but because there were multiple pieces and multiple parties involved, Alan and the entire office were able to help us along this path. Even when there were some unexpected issues involved in our process such as dealing with the IRS, when trying to navigate the benefits, and even with simple things such as trying to understand the appropriate process of what must get done, by what time period, who needs to sign off, etc. Estates can be a very difficult process before you even get to the legal side of things. Thankfully Alan made this process as smooth as possible. We were able to focus on the issues concerning family and loss, knowing they had our back when it came to the documentation, filing, paperwork and legal side of things. Alan & Suzanne did a great job on my sister's estate especially since I live in Florida. They handled virtually everything from PA and made it so easy for me to act as Administrator for her estate. They went above & beyond anything I ever did as a legal admin. They even hired people to rehab her mobile home so we could sell it for a profit and make the estate solvent.
Alan really understands the criminal court system in Erie. He advocated hard for us. He also advised us of what we could do to help the case. He was very straightforward and shared best and worst case scenarios. In the end, it paid off. We had a better than expected outcome. We are very grateful we had Alan on our side.
